Easter Nails | Tutorial

Hello everyone! When something seasonal/an occasion pops up, I always try to do a nail art design to match. So, here is another nail art tutorial especially for Easter time!
(Also, this is a 2 in one tutorial for Ombré nails!)

The colours you may want will be:

Left To Right:
Pink: O.P.I. 'Japanese Rose Garden'.     Pastel Blue: Angelica 'Ice Queen'.    Yellow: Miss Sporty 'Popcorn'.   White: Natural Collection 'Nail Tip Whitener'.   Black: Rimmel London 'Black Out'.     Mint Green: H&M (Doesn't have a name).     Purple: Beauty UK 'Soft Lilac' (No. 41).

The clear, and I guess helpful polishes:

O.P.I Top Coat, O.P.I Natural Nail Base Coat & Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails.

 Nail Tools and things:

Randomly:
Make up sponge, scissors, nail art dotting tools, tweezers, toothpicks, cotton buds/ q-tips & nail polish remover.

1ST STEP:
I'm sorry I don't have a picture, but just simply paint your thumb and accent nail with this pale blue, and then the rest with this white!

2ND STEP!! OMBRÉ NAILS!!!

Get yourself the make up sponge, scissors, tweezers and the following nail polishes!⇩

With your make up sponge, cut out a chunk which is big enough for your nail to fit. This doesn't have to be a perfect size, a bit bigger is much better than a bit smaller.

Now it's time to do the ombré effect! Paint a generous layer of your range of colours in a row, next to each other. It's essential that you don't put too little, because the polish sinks into the sponge fairly quickly anyway so having lots is needed!

Grab your tweezers and pinch them on the back of your sponge so it's easier to hold, then pat on well your colour! Your colour builds up a bit better if you keep patting it.

It gives this awesome ray of soft pastel colours without harsh lines! I love this look for this (very gloomy) springtime.

STEP 3! BUNNIES!!
For the details of your bunny, you will need these colours

I haven't actually got any shots of me doing this, but the way to do this is to:
1:  Draw a white 'V' kind of popping out of the bottom of your nail for the ears. You can either use a dotting tool or a toothpick. Do a semi circle at the bottom of this v, to make the head of the bunny!
2:  Get your pink, and do an ultra small line in your ears. This gives the cool cartoon effect of bunny ears! Try to keep this in between the white 'V'.
3:  Finally, use your black and dot on some tiny eyes and whiskers. I could have done mine a bit neater but hey, it's done haha.
That's everything!
Here are the finished nails. Add a top coat on at the end to seal in your cute design and then it will also stay longer!

Thank you for reading, comment for questions and I hope you have a happy easter!
