Hair Care | Current Products That I Use

Hello everyone! I haven't seemed to post anything about my hair so I just wanted to start off with everything. I'm going to show you all of my current products and how regularly I use them, etc.

I'll start off with just shampoo, conditioner & intensive conditioner:
Left is Conditioner, it's the 'Headmasters Big Glam Hair Volumising Conditioner', and I've found that it has helped quite a lot with the look of my hair. Right is Shampoo, called 'L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Crystal Sparkling Shampoo' and this makes your hair super shiny! Lastly is my intensive conditioner and this changes quite a lot because I share with my mum! It smells just really like coconut and I bought it from Superdrug. I use this around once a week, maybe every now and then twice a week!
You can buy the Conditioner from Tesco, the shampoo was bought from Wilkinsons and the Intensive conditioner from Superdrug!

Hair Oils & Syrums:
The left is a new oil that I bought from Primark, because everybody recently raves about hair oils so I thought I'd start here. I haven't tried it enough to tell you if I like it or not, but that's what I'm using! For hair serum I have a new one from boots. It's nice from first thoughts but again not enough tries for me to tell you if I love it. I had one from Herbal Essences before but I thought I'd try this new one as I've had that for about a year and a half!
You can buy the hair oil from Primark  for £2.50 and the hair serum from Boots for £2.10!

Dry Shampoos:
So I'm not going to talk too much about this because everyone knows what this is about and what it's for. If not, in a nutshell if your in a rush, just spray this in your slightly greasy hair areas because it makes it look fresh and just washed! I love batiste but haven't tried any other brands, but I do recommend.
You can pretty much buy this everywhere - Boots, Superdrug, Savers, Tescos, Sainsbury's, everywhere! You can buy these in many sizes to fit your need.

Everyday normalities:
At the back there I have my 'Trevor Sorbie' bristle brush, average 'stick' like brushes never seem to work for me. I'm thinking about getting the 'Tangle Teezer' but this is fine at the moment! It makes my hair super soft and gets out all tangles. For Finishing spray I use TRESemme because aaaaaaaaaaaaages ago there was a couple of shelves in a local superdrug which were all reduced because of imperfections, but this as about 27p just because there was no lid!
You can buy these both at drugstores like Boots & Superdrug.

I hope you liked my hair care products! Comment for any questions:)

Studded Purse | Pairing & Thoughts

Hello my lovelies, I've been into Primark like 3 times in 3 days so far and as many people in the UK know, every Primark has different things. What I mean by this is that you find the odd lonely rack with a couple of bits and pieces which are reduced! I found this around the jewelery section and was pleased from the first sight!

I probably would have still bought this even if it was full price but as a bonus that it was reduced from £4 down to £2.
So as everyone knows, studs are a fashion craze at the moment and have been for a while, and you can see there that they are a gun metal grey kinda colour with a flat top instead of a spike.

I don't have a picture here for you but I thought I could share a couple of things to pair this with:
  • A black collared dress with a white bow belt and either white dolly shoes or boot heels
  • A dipped hem skirt in a peachy colour w/a floral black and grey vest tee, then shiny heels
  • Black skinny jeans w/a cream collared sheer vest and a cool grey/black hat, then small black heels
That's just three examples but there is probably a lot more! I know this is only a purse but imagining outfits with this purse in my hand makes it look awesome!
I will hopefully be doing a 'How To Style' post, so comment if you like that idea!

Speak to you soon,
Lizzie xoxo

Staying Power Test | Maybelline, Revlon & NYC

Hello everyone, I have three stains here which I tested their lasting power. As stains, they usually have a purpose to stay for a long time through a lot, let's see how we get on!

I have here 1st: Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Tint Gloss in 'Lasting Pink'. 2nd: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in '40 Rendez-Vous'. And 3rd: NYC Smooch Proof 16HR Lipstain in 'Orange On The Go'.

This picture was taken at around 10:30 AM. It shows the full burst of colour and how they turn out on the lips at the first point!

This picture was taken at around 12:00 AM. I haven't done tons by this time but it's starting to fade quite a lot 1 and a half hours in! Not really much to see.

This final picture was at about 3:00PM. There is pretty much nothing there, just a small amount of the Maybelline.
At around 5PM there was nothing on my hand. The Revlon, most expensive, had completely disappeared whereas the Maybelline and NYC was possible to slightly see in good light.
The best lasting one was definately Maybelline, I only think this though because it's much brighter than the other two. It stained more and caused the colour of the skin completely stained, not just the top!

I hope you liked this post, it's a first for me!

Loads of Lipbalms...

I thought at first that this was a stupid post, which yes it is lol, but I thought I'd show you my masses of lipbalm. Beware.
Firstly the storage: I keep most of them in this Impulse minis gift set tin- I got this about 2 years ago in my Christmas stocking and I've found it stores them pretty well. I keep my most constantly used ones with the rest of my make up on the bottom draw of my wardrobe!
The blistex 'Lip brilliance', Vaseline, Carmex, Softlips and the cute owl purple claires one on the side go in my wardrobe and the rest in the Impulse tin!
These are all of them set up in a nice way! From left to right, going downwards:
Vaseline Cocoa Butter, A present from my friend (I think it's from boots), Jelly Belly Bubblegum lipbalm, Sherbert Kisses balm, Hawkins bazaar cupcake, Claire's ice cream pot of bubblegum lipbalm, Born Lippy by The Body Shop balms in 'watermelon' & 'raspberry', Carmex original, CocoCola flavoured lipbalm lid, Blistex lip brilliance, Fanta orange balm, Vaseline cocoa butter chap stick, Claire's owl grape chap stick, Softlips in 'French Vanilla' & finally Fanta Strawberry Chap Stick!
And there is everything whilst open!

Real Techniques: My Collection & Review

Hello everyone, I attempted doing a video on this yesterday after school but it just wasn't one of those filming days for me! Videos will be late this week but I promise they'll be up soon;)
The Core Collection: The brushes that come in this famous collection are the Buffing Brush, Contour Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush & The Detailer Brush.

From biggest to smallest, the Buffing brush is THE BEST BRUSH EVERRRR. It blends everything so well and isn't harsh on your face. Sometimes from putting products on you and rubbing it in your face can cause temporary redness, which doesn't feel very good. I've found some brushes do the exact same as this which shouldn't happen, and luckily I've found this with this brush! Blending your foundation through your hairline has honestly never been easier, blending down your neck and making your face all over even.

The contour brush is a really perfect size for contouring and making your face bronzed. It fits in right under your cheekbone and isn't too big to make you look like a mess! As you may have seen in one of my previous posts I said this is reeeally useful as a setting brush when using clarifying powder around your t-zone and under your eyes, instead of buying a £10 setting brush!

The pointed foundation brush is actually quite small, but is a fairly big under eye concealer brush. I think that it generally does do a great job when applying foundation and makes no streaks whatsoever which is fab, but the only down side is that it is a bit small and it takes a tad longer than normal sized foundation brushes. I do like the point that its pointed, because you can get around your nose and even use it for concealer under your eyes. I love it but just a little bit bigger please Sam Chapman!

The Detailer Brush is suuuuper small. Personally I prefer to use my finger with concealer for blemishes and small areas, so I knew I wasn't really going to use this that much. I do think it is a good size for going around your eyebrow to define more but I just don't use it that much because it's a bit easier to use your finger. I loooove the handle though as it's so thin yet so long:)

Next is my singular brushes!!

The Blush Brush is a big tapered (slightly pointed) fluffy brush. It seems to pick up the perfect amount of blush which I've found is different to my previous brushes. It is a big brush but somehow is the best size on the taper to make a flush of colour on my cheeks! I haven't stopped using it since I've got it. It's a great buy considering you can use it for more than blush- powder, clarifying etc!

The Stippling Brush is a very sharp (not literally, lol) cut on the top and it is a completely straight edge. As of this, it isn't as soft as the top of say the blush brush because it is cut so finely. It isn't like it's harsh but it's just not as soft at the tops as the others. The amazing thing about this is that it's so versatile, it can be used for so many things! Blush, cream blush, foundation, concealer, powder and probably a few more. It works with all of those things very well, too!

The Stippling Brush:

Overall the brushes are soft, durable, brilliant and worth the money!

MAC Face & Body Foundation

So I popped down to MAC for a first purchase which I have a video on HERE but I thought instead of talking about that I'd talk about the sample that I was given with it. This is the MAC face & body foundation!
The shade that the woman thought I was is 'N1' which I thought was different to the rest of the foundation shade names, they tend to be 'NW15' and 'NC20' and stuff like that. I think the shade matches me well!
This foundation is a very very very liquid based foundation and it's very sheer. I have very red cheeks naturally so when I use concealer under my eyes it makes half of my face appear kind of a shade pinkier/redder? It's very strange. I have been loving using this as a tint to make my skin tone all over even! It's worked so well doing that, I've seen a difference when I use it even though it is super sheer! It blends very nicely and I just generally was happy to have this sample!

I highly doubt I'm going to buy it anytime soon, maybe in the future but I'm happy with it's actions at the moment!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hello everyone, I bought this balm stain from Revlon at around the start of January, and I've used it a lot since then so I thought I'd show you my thoughts on it.

I got it in shade 40 - Rendezvous. It's a very pretty bright orange!

The top swatch there is after a couple of swipes and the lower one is just one. The colour pay off is really amazing, and also it's nice the way that you can build it up, because if you only wanted a sweet wash of colour than it's nice for things like school. On the weekends and stuff I like to build up the colour because it's generally a corally red which looks so beautiful. It isn't as intense as a red but it's super nice.
The staying power is pretty good! Youtubers have said that the darker colours in the range stay for longer which I probably think is right, darker colours tend to stain more but this does stay on for a good few hours. I don't really have any bad things to say about this product except that the packaging could have been a TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINY bit of a stronger plastic, because I've found a couple of small cracks in the middle of the 'pen'. They aren't open cracks, but you can still see then and I've treated them well so I'm not too sure why they are there!

I bought this when Boots was having an offer - it was £5 and has gone back to it's original RRP which is £7.99. If you still want to buy this, then I think you won't be disappointed. There are 7 colours in the range and you can buy it HERE:)

Think Pink Bath Bomb

Holla, today I'm showing you how the 'Think Pink' bath bomb was by Lush.
This smells just like candyfloss and sweetness, I can't describe smells very well but I think this would be loved by a lot of people. The flowers on top sizzle just like the rest of the bath bombs!!
This is what the bath ends up looking like! Pretty much a pink water
I wanted to add a little arrow to show you the heart confetti pieces. It doesn't melt in the bath but it looks preeetty:)

Hope you enjoyed, expect more pooosts!
