How to Make the Best Chocolate Brownies!

Hello my lovelies! I haven't posted in about 2 weeks now, but here I am with one LONG post! I'm going to be sharing a recipe for amazing chocolate brownies. These have turned out perfectly, so I hope you enjoy making/or just reading this tasty treat!
I must say, brownies aren't exactly healthy in any way, but I think these are a great occasional treat and nice for guests/friends/anyone!

Ingredients:
- 185g of butter OR lard (Stork is what I've used)
-185g of milk chocolate
-85g of plain flour
-40g of cocoa powder
-50g of white chocolate chips
-50g of milk chocolate chips
-3 eggs
-275g of caster sugar

Tools:
-Scales
-Hob
-Mixing Bowl
-Saucepan
-Baking paper & baking tray
-Blender/mixer/hand mixer
-Sieve

How to make:
1:
1: Measure out your butter/lard and your chocolate (separately) into the scales and try to get it directly onto 185g. Once both measured, put into your saucepan and put that onto the hob to simmer and melt on the lowest heat. This will be ready melted by the time you need to pour it into the main mixture.

2:
2: Preparing time! Turn your oven onto gas mark 4 so that it's ready pre-heated, then it will be the best temperature to put the brownie mixture in. Once you've done that, line your baking paper into the baking tray (It doesn't matter what size, but for this mixture I've used a 20cm tin).

3:

3: Sieve your 40g of cocoa powder and 85g of plain flour together into a big mixing bowl. This makes them both very soft and not lumpy! Then, grab your three eggs and sugar, and add them into your blender/mixer/another big bowl. Whisk them around! This can take from 3 to 8 minutes.

4:
4:Once that's been mixing and it's turned into a white colour and very creamy consistency, it's time to add in the plain flour and cocoa powder. A thing you need to look out for though is to see if your mixture is ready before you put these two in-

Take out the beaters/mixer thing and see if the mixture hanging from it leaves a trail of itself on the surface for a second or two. If it doesn't leave one, then mix it for another minute of two! It should then be ready.
When it's ready, add in your cocoa powder and plain flour. You need to mix this in but only gently, because you need to keep the air in to keep the brownies light!

5:

5: By this point your butter/lard and chocolate chunks would have melted nicely in the saucepan! Turn off the heat and let it cool for a bit. Once fairly cool, pour into your mixture. With that, it's optional to add in your chocolate chips! I think these brownies are finished off perfectly with the chocolate chips inside. I've used two packets for the mixture because it's the right amount! I've used white and milk chocolate to spice things up a little. Mix these up fully so that the mixture is all the same colour!

6:
6: Finally, pour the mixture into your ready-prepared baking tray and put it into your ready-prepared oven for 30mins. it should be crisp on top!

That is the entire recipe! One thing I would add is that you might want to put this in the fridge for a couple of hours to let it solidify. It's not that it isn't baked properly, it's just that it makes it much easier to cut open.

Then it's time to snack away! I hope you liked this super tasty treat and if you want more treat recipes, then just comment:) Let me know if you try this out!

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara Review!

Hello everyone! I am really sorry that I haven't been blogging much at all lately. I promise, I will try my hardest to keep up with my posts, as I do love blogging but I haven't had the time, products and ideas to do it. I don't know why but I haven't felt like doing it at all either, which sounds 'mean' but I do love you really! I'm still here:)
Anyway, this mascara came out to the UK last weekend, and I was SO excited to see it! I had no idea is was even coming here, but when I saw it I immediately thought of all these American/Canadian youtubers talking about it and saying how much they love it in all of their videos.
The brush itself is crazy! There is a sort of long oval structure to it, but the bristles look pretty random.
The formula is seriously cool! It seems to just be so 'soft'; it's not super runny like some I've found. On the packaging, it says that it is a 'mousse gel formula' which explains the amazing-ness of it! It just makes the brush work more, I think if it was not such a good formula it wouldn't work very well at all.
There is this sort of bend bit near the bristles on the brush, I think it's to help it get out more product out of the bottle & also to get right into the corners of your eyes to get the mascara on all of your lashes. When I first saw this I thought that it would annoy me and make the wand not very stable and it would move a bit when I'm applying it, but it doesn't seem to be the case at all. It doesn't move (from what I notice) when I'm applying it, woohoo!

-Before-

-After-
You can see there the before & after pictures, I used eyelash curlers too, but the point is that it doesn't clump! The formula and the brush really mix well together and create very full and voluminous lashes!
I think the main reason why I did buy this is because of this- when I bought it (I think still currently!)it was already £2 off, because in boots they had an offer which showed that all Maybelline mascaras were up to £3 off. I then went over to the advantage card machine thing and I found on my exclusive offers a voucher which gave me another £2 off! Yes for money off!
The actual retail price is usually £8, so I only got it for £4. If you can, have a look on your exclusive offers because you never know what offers/coupons/vouchers you can get! I have checked on the website of boots but I can't seem to find it on there! If you see this mascara in a boots near you then I highly recommend checking it out, especially as it's £2 off anyway!

Thank you for reading, hope this helped!
