Beauty Haul

Hey everyone, so today I went shopping for christmas presents for my sister & one of my friends, so obviously I can't show you what I bought them! (They both read this blog, hello there:))
I have bought a couple of beauty and a couple of hair items!

First is the most exciting product for me:

This is the Rimmel London Bronzing Compact Powder Sun Shimmer. The shade I got it in is 'Light Matte'! I have been looking for a matte bronzer recently so it's not so much shimmer on my face, and I was soooooo excited when I saw this in savers. In superdrug I believe its around 5 or 6 pounds, and it was in savers for less! Savers, £3.25.

Next is a nail polish:

This is by Miss Sporty! I've seen this pastel blue before and loved it, so I bought it today:) It's in Shade '2205'.  Superdrug, £1.99.

A new pressed powder, because my old one smashed -__-:

Sorry if the flash was too much and if you can't see it! It's called the 'Smooth Skin Pressed Powder' by NYC. My Rimmel one has unfortunately smashed this morning, so going shopping today was helpful! £2.99, Superdrug.

I bought two conditioners, one for swimming and one for home. This is my home one:
I found this in poundland, very suprisingly as Pantene can be quite pricey! I have very fine hair so getting thickening and volumising shampoos and conditioners are a must! £1, Poundland,

Second one:

I asked my mum to pick up a conditioner for swimming as I wasn't sure I would have enough money! I'm not sure how much it was, sorry! Tescos.

A new concealer:
I had heard a couple of loves with this, thought I might try it out:) £1.99, Superdrug.

A gorgeous new bag:
I was sooo shocked to see this- not just that it was pretty and dainty- BUT it was reduced half price! Only £2!!! £2, On Sale, Primark.

Finally a new dry shampoo:
So I ran out of my dry shampoo quite a while ago now, and I haven't been shopping for a long time either! This is helpful for bad hair days, which to be honest is quite often. £1.50, Savers.

Hope you enjoyed, speak to you soon:)

Extreme Mini Haul

Hey everyone, so on sunday I popped down to the shops as I hadn't been to that place for a long time, and I bought 2 things that I thought I might show you. Yes, it's an extreme mini haul:)

First thing is a nail polish:

This is by Barry M and is called 'Pink Sapphire Glitter' and this has thin rectangular, big and small hexagon glitters inside. I do like Barry M glitters as they always dry quickly and end up looking stunning on your nails after layering. Boots, £2.99.

Next and finally is a powder:

This is by Collection 2000 and is their sheer loose powder. This also comes with a sponge but I like to use it with a brush and tap off the excess onto the lid of this jar. Boots, £2.99.

That is it! I bought only two things as I didn't find too many things I was really interested in buying and plus there was a buy one get one half price sale.
I will tell you more about these products in maybe a review each to tell you if I like them or not!
See you soon:)

Current Main Creams

Hey everyone, so I thought I'd show you the main creams which I'm using at the moment. Here we go:)
From Left to right:

Vaseline 'Healthy Hands + Stronger Nails' Hand Cream: This cream was bought a couple of weeks ago now, because as it is going into winter now (woohoo) my hands tend to go very dry because of the chill. I don't think anybody likes a greasy hand cream, which is why this is fab! It moisturises very quickly whist sinking into your hand almost immediately, which means I don't have to go around with greasy and oily hands. This has a really nice smell to it too, which adds to the best!

Tesco 'Cucumber Moisture Cream': So I have been using this cream as if it were a night cream and I do think it is best as just a night cream. It doesn't sink in literally immediately which is why it's great for night time- I don't mind having to wait for it to sink in because I'm only going to bed! In the morning my skin does feel fairly soft which is a nice base for my make-up the very next day:). This is also fairly cheap I believe!

The Beauty Parlour 'Mattifying Moisturiser': I love this moisturiser for after deep cleansing my face, because it is completely oil free and leaves my face not shiny and fantastically matte- I naturally have a shiny face and this calms it down I guess! I usually go for about 2 peas worth and even then I still have a lot left once I've finished my face, so that's great because then this whole tube will last me for ages. A little bit goes a long way with this, and I will definately be re-purchasing. You can find this in savers for only £1.50, which is unbelievable because I've never actually seen a mattifying moisturiser before, let alone a brilliant one!

Boots 'Kiss Me Quick Candy Floss Body Cream': This cream was a present for Christmas last year, it came in a carousel-like box with a set of things including shower gels, creams and bath salts. I also have the 'Sherbert Lemon' body cream but I haven't got round to using it yet. I like to use this on my arms and legs after shaving and on a day-to-day basis because you don't need to use much for your entire leg because it is more like a lotion, so it spreads out a lot more. It smells absolutely gorgeous- candy floss and sweets, just like your at a funfair. It's not too thick and not too runny which is just the right point for a body cream for me!

I hope you enjoyed this post, see you soon:)

NOTD

Hey everyone, so usually I would post a little earlier than what I have at the moment, sorry that I'm a bit late with posting! These are my nails of the weekend:) I haven't done a NOTD before, if I feel I have something cool on my nails, I will show you:)
The polishes used:
BARRY M- Aqua Glitter
SALLY HANSEN- Double Duty Stengthening Base & Top Coat
17- Catwalk Couture

And here are the nails!

So I done a full glitter accent nail which I think looks fab, because it practically matches Catwalk Couture perfectly, just in glitter form. Another thing I wanted to add was I really really do love Barry M glitters, because they layer up so well! They dry super quick and they have a great colour range. I will be doing a post on my thoughts on Barry M Nail Paints pretty soon!

Thanks for reading:)

Nail & Skin Care Storage

Hey everyone, so I know I just done a post on my make up storage but I thought I'd do my skin & nail care storage, just so everything is out of the way. Sorry if it's a bit boring to you, but hopefully it will give you ideas of how to store your items! I will be doing an updated make up storage as I am getting my room completely re-decorated soon!
I have these twin tins, one smaller than the other:
I picked these up from Tescos, but I believe they were just a special limited edition sort of thing because of the Olympics going on and stuff. I'm not sure how much they were, sorry! I have a feeling they were around the £5 mark though.

This is my nail care tin (The smaller one):

And this is the skin care tin(The bigger one):
I will be going through them in a separate post, or maybe in an empties post if I use them all up!

Sorry this was a fairly plain post and that I haven't posted in a couple of days but I will be posting tomorow as I have no after-school activites on thursdays! I will also be hopefully filming some videos.
Thanks for reading!

Make Up Storage

Hey readers, so this ISN'T my make up collection, that will be up on My CHANNEL fairly soon. I'm just going to be showing you how I store my make up. As my make up collection grows bigger and bigger, I will be having a new way of storage! To be honest, I will probably change the way it's stored when my room is being re-decorated! That's going to be fairly soon, too!
So, this is what the overall set of mini drawers looks like:

I picked this up from a fete near me, but you can probably pick this up from Staples,Ikea, etc.

Here is the first drawer of them! (Pink)
So in here I have mascara, concealer and a retractable powder brush. I do not have a CLUE why the hard as nails is in there, it's empty...:s
Here is the second drawer! (Yellow)
In here are my face powders! I have pressed powder, bronzer and a load of blushes.

Here is the third drawer! (Blue)
This is my lip drawerrrrrrrrrrrrr! I have lip balms, lip tints, lip glosses and lipsticks!

And finally my eye drawer! (Green)
In here I have fake eyelashes, eye shadow trios, palletes and singular, eyeliners, clear mascara and cream eyeshadows.

Thank you all so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed and had a happy halloween:)

Make Up Tips For School

Hey everyone, so recently someone has asked me on my youtube channel 'can you give me some tips for hair and make up at our school? We aren't allowed to wear make up and we aren't allowed bows or flowers in our hair', so I thought I would do two separate posts about this; make up tips and hair tutorials/tips. Here we go!

Mascara: So, in school, it's possible for it to be obvious that you have mascara on. Especially if your like me and have light hair. At first, I hated clear mascara, but now I've figured that it will help for people that have schools that are very strict with their make up rules. Personally, I don't use it because minimal make up is allowed, but for those 'strict' school rules, clear mascara can help! We all know that when hair is wet it's darker, so when you have clear mascara on it doesn't add a colour, but it adds definition and does apply something. Clear mascara is used for defining lashes after a coloured mascara is on, or it's used for keeping your eyebrows in place for the day. So, if it defines your lashes well, then you are atleast having fluttery eyelashes. Even if they aren't huge!

Face: Face make up is usually very easy to get wrong - orange, too much on and 'slag lines'. I'm talking about foundation and tinted moisturiser! If your not too familiar with make up and foundation, I'd say stick to tinted moisturiser. And for those who have strict school rules! It's a very sheer cover for your skin because it has a good moisturiser inside, so your simply moisturising your skin whilst sheerly covering your face. I do wear this, but not on a day to day basis, just to give my skin a break. It's more natural! I don't wear foundation, but if you are comfortable enough to wear it then you need to make sure it ticks ALL of the boxes! Here are some things to definately consider whilst purchasing foundation:
Is it too orange?
What coverage is it?
Does it seem too cheap/too good to be true?
Take your time, don't immediately rush into it!
LOOK AT REVIEWS!
The last one-looking at reviews- is quite important, well to me anyway! If you have been looking at a foundation and are quite tempted to buy it because of the description, before you buy it, look at reviews. Just because then you know what actual people using this think of it. They might say it's very heavy coverage, it's orange toned, doesn't blend well, etc. The reason why I'm saying all of this is because when your using foundation for school AND your school is strict, you need to make sure it suits YOUR skin and YOUR liking, and it's natural! AND make your skin flawless. Natural is always going to be the best looking!

Concealer: There isn't a ton of things to say about concealer, but I think it's good to have rather than pounding a lot on your face. It's great to just cover the KEY parts that NEED to be covered. Things like spots, dark circles and redness! I suggest this deeply and just add a little powder to set it for the day.

Powder: Powder is a thing where stunningly matte can turn into cake face. Mattifying powder is used in your T-Zone-Forehead and down your nose. I use this daily, and anywhere where my face is shiny. NOBODY likes a shiny face! When your using powder, always make sure you don't over load. Less is more really, so once you've covered the main parts then your good to go for the entire day.

Cheeks: With blush, people go mad and have barbie pink cheeks. Sometimes is can look good, but it's too obvious for school. I always go for a glowy cheek - corals, light pinks and generally glowy kinda colours. I kind of layer them up; a sheer as a base, a brighter pink on top and then a orangey/coral/glowy on top. Just do this to the apples of your cheeks and it doesn't add so much colour and really, when you look on the sides, you can't see it. From the front, it looks great because you look awake and ready!

I hope this helped people and understood my opinions, it's more of a typing post today!
