Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hello everyone, I bought this balm stain from Revlon at around the start of January, and I've used it a lot since then so I thought I'd show you my thoughts on it.

I got it in shade 40 - Rendezvous. It's a very pretty bright orange!

The top swatch there is after a couple of swipes and the lower one is just one. The colour pay off is really amazing, and also it's nice the way that you can build it up, because if you only wanted a sweet wash of colour than it's nice for things like school. On the weekends and stuff I like to build up the colour because it's generally a corally red which looks so beautiful. It isn't as intense as a red but it's super nice.
The staying power is pretty good! Youtubers have said that the darker colours in the range stay for longer which I probably think is right, darker colours tend to stain more but this does stay on for a good few hours. I don't really have any bad things to say about this product except that the packaging could have been a TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINY bit of a stronger plastic, because I've found a couple of small cracks in the middle of the 'pen'. They aren't open cracks, but you can still see then and I've treated them well so I'm not too sure why they are there!

I bought this when Boots was having an offer - it was £5 and has gone back to it's original RRP which is £7.99. If you still want to buy this, then I think you won't be disappointed. There are 7 colours in the range and you can buy it HERE:)

Think Pink Bath Bomb

Holla, today I'm showing you how the 'Think Pink' bath bomb was by Lush.
This smells just like candyfloss and sweetness, I can't describe smells very well but I think this would be loved by a lot of people. The flowers on top sizzle just like the rest of the bath bombs!!
This is what the bath ends up looking like! Pretty much a pink water
I wanted to add a little arrow to show you the heart confetti pieces. It doesn't melt in the bath but it looks preeetty:)

Hope you enjoyed, expect more pooosts!

My Life At The Moment:)

Hellooo, today I'm going to do a chatty post about stuff that's happening in my life at the moooomento.

School: So soon we are actually going to have to pick our GCSE options, and if you are from the US or a country other than the UK and reading this, GCSEs are the exams we have to take when we are 16, to get us started with college, university etc. At this point in time, I think I know what I'm going to pick. We have our Core subjects, which consists of English, Maths, Science (Single, Double or Triple) and then PSHCE, but as my school is a Technology based school we have to choose one, which I have chosen Textiles- Sewing and Fashion. In my school we get to pick 3 subjects of our choice, and I think I'm going to choose Drama, History & Photography.

Weather: Today it has started snowing like mad! In my area it was like a blizzard- I was in English class when we found out we had to stay in the classrooms for break time, then on my 3rd lesson we went along and we got to go home! Woo for half days! It's meant to snow much more tomorrow, so I will show you all some pictures as I am going to take some:)

Make Up: I've been shopping (what a surprise) AGAIN as I do love it so much, I have decided that I'm going to start spending more on less of the expensive products. Quite confusing, but I'm basically not going to buy sooo much of the cheap stuff and instead spend the same amount on less things, but they would be more of the luxurious end of the scale. I.E: Revlon, Maybelline and L'Oreal are brands that I wouldn't usually go for, but I am going to start buying a bit more from them:) Expect some reviews soon!

I think I've covered everything, hope you enjoyed,
Lizzie xoxo

Boxing Day Deals

Hey everyone, on boxing day I went to my local 'mini shopping centre' and found a couple of good deals, and here I am showing you:).

Perfume: In Boots, there was a deal which showed that what ever had a gift box sign on it, that meant it was half price. I picked up 2:)

Charlie Enchant: This little box included a 30ml bottle of the 'Enchant' Perfume and included a normal bottle of the bodyspray.

So...? Rock 'N' Roll: Three 15ml bottles of some So...? Perfumes. Includes Love, Fab & Daring.

Facial Creams:I have been having very dry skin lately and it starts to go very flaky, even with loads of my other moisturisers. I've figured those moisturisers and balms are very good for summer and other seasons-just not those cold and dry ones. I needed some serious moisture into my face, because it gets so frustrating not being able to get rid of it, no matter how many lotions and moisturisers i may use. Simple was on offer for 3 for 2, so I picked up three products from there, whilst I bought 2 creams from Boot's own 'vitamin e' range.

Simple:

Left To Right:
Simple Replenishing Rich Moituriser, Smoothing Facial Scrub & Soothing Eye Balm.

Vitamin E moisture day cream & night cream, matching to see if they work well together. These were about £3 each, but they were on offer for 2 for £4.

New Look:

I am starting to wear eyeshadow a bit more and so I picked this up in new look as it was half price, a trio eye brush set including a brow and lash comb, a sponge shadow applicator and an eyeliner brush.

There were a lot of leggings on sale so on my rummage through I found two pairs that I loved. The first look like a dark grey grungy kind of colour, with rounded bronze studs running down the whole side of the leg. These used to be £20 but were hugely reduced to only £6.

These are beautiful with the faded floral print, the fade of it and the grey colour of the background allows me to wear possibly a bright colour block tee on top, which is great so it's not going to be boring and only wearing a plain white/black tee. The tag for what it was before was cut off, but it was reduced to only £5.

This tee is so cute, fun and such a nice colour. I'm really into dark reds at the moment, and the moustache has loads of black diamontes bedazzled onto it. It's quite a low neck, so I would probably wear either a bandeau or a vest tee underneath. Generation New Look, Half Price £4.

NYC 'Smooth Skin' Pressed Powder

Hey everyone, sorry for no post in quite a while! So a couple of weeks back I bought a new pressed powder as my last one broke (I will be doing a post on how to not waste that) and I showed it in my haul (HERE), and I thought I would share my thoughts on them as I have tried with this a lot.

So with pressed powders, not all are meant to mattify(am I right?). I was hoping for this to mattify at least a little bit but it didn't seem to make any difference. Even when I thought of just setting concealer, it didn't do anything. There isn't a ton to say about it because it didn't do much! My skin in the winter does go a bit flaky and dry, so I need something (face make up wise) to hydrate and at least cover a little bit. I will try this once I get something like that, maybe a foundation, so then I can see if it's good at clarifying and finishing off my make up. I am disappointed because I thought it might be great, but it doesn't do anything at-all.

Thanks for reading,
Lizzie xoxo
