September Wishlist

Hola! I haven't done a wishlist in quite a long time, so I thought I'd show you some things I wish to get!

*Google Images*
Katy Perry - Killer Queen Eau De Parfum 50ml, £28.99:I recently smelt this and immediately fell in love. It's not too sweet but it's a strong smell. I love the packaging, the fact it's from Katy Perry, everything!
*cosmeticproductreviews.com*
MAC - Studio Careblend Pressed Powder, £20:I've wanted a powder from Mac for a long time now, but I have done a little research and this powder seems to be the one that I will probably use a lot.
*Google Images*

Apple iPod Touch, White, 32GB, £149.99: I've wanted an iPod touch for some years now, I've honestly loved for ages how they are! You can listen to your music, loads of games, apps and stuff. I've recently really been thinking of getting one, that's why I'm adding it into this wishlist!
*Google Images*

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; Shark Face Gang Crewneck Jumper/Sweater, $45: So you may have seen from my twitter that I just love Macklemore & Ryan Lewis to the moon and back, I can't even explain how much I love them and their music! Anyway, "Shark Face Gang" is what they call their "Fandom". It's pricey, but I know I'd wear it so much!
New Look-Sorry I'm Not Sorry Tee, £9.99:I tend to say this term quite a lot, so when I saw this online I thought I would wear this a lot, it looks good and also will go with a lot.

That's all I've been liking and wanting so far this month! Not too many but that's okay :)

Nail Care & Routine

Hola my lovelies! Today I'm showing you my nail care/nail in general routine. I'll go through different "categories" of what I do and then show you what I use, etc.

Removing:

This bit's nothing fancy, literally just use any nail polish remover with some cotton pads/balls.

Shaping:

Again, this is nothing special. I either clip off my nails (If I need to cut them off) or I file them with one of these metal files to keep them the shape I want them!

Growth:

I use these two products (AVON Nail Experts Grow Potion & Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Daily Nail Treatment) in order to grow my nails quicker and longer. I feel like they do speed up the speed of my nail growth! They don't make them any stronger or anything but they do help my nails grow a lot faster.

Strengthening:

Here I have Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition Green Tea + Bamboo Strengthener & KIKO Strong Nails Instant Hardening Base Coat. These two polishes keep and make my nails strong and non-flimsy; for instance after I had by acrylics bitten off, these two made my nails non- flimsy and part-strong again just within a week.

Painting:

Here are 4 of my most used/favourite nail polishes. I use these regularly and I thought I might show you them because you may see them in NOTD's in the future! I have here "704 Sweet As Sugar" By Rimmel London, Maybelline Color Show in "Latte", Essence Color & Go in "146 That's What I Mint!" and finally Beauty UK Glam Nails in "Soft Lilac".

Finishing Off:

Finally I'm showing you the final little products and tools I use other than Top Coat. In the picture, you can see AVON's Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Dry Spray & Nail Dotting Tools. The drying spray seems to save me every time I paint my nails really, it dries them so much quicker then they would alone! The nail dotting tools are just for doing a bit of nail art; it depends how I feel really.

So that is my nail care & routine! I hope you enjoyed that, feel free to ask anything in the comments!

August Favourites 2013

Hey my lovelies! Haven't posted in about 2 months, a bit weird writing like this again, but I really want to get into a habit of this again!
My reasons for not posting is because of summer! As you may have known I went on holiday with my family for 2 weeks, then went to Germany with my swimming club. Summer was very busy for me, so that in itself doesn't give me much time to take pictures of whatever I want to post about, but also doesn't give me much time at all to write an entire blog post up. Also, at times I didn't really feel in the mood for it. I feel like if you blog, you should blog because you enjoy it, and not out of force!

Anyway, I hope I'm forgiven, because I know that youtubing and blogging are things I love to do! I am truly grateful for you all following, commenting and even just reading my blog! I will seriously try to do my best with this! :)

-AUGUST FAVOURITES-

Starting of with beauty things for this month, here is a new release and love for me!

Maybelline Baby Lips, £2.99: These are brand new to the UK, but we've heard Americans rave about these so much! I have bought 4 colours because I feel like they are so good, they hydrate your lips, you have a choice of a few colours or none at all, the moisture lasts a while and then afterwards your lips are left feeling really nice! I think these are handy and small for your bag too. They are just great little lip balms in general :)
You can buy these HERE

KIKO Make Up Milano- Strong Nails Instant Hardening Base Coat, €2,50: When I was in Germany, I bought this when I was out shopping. You can find KIKO in London too, I've found one in Shepard's Bush Westfield! Anyway, I recently had on Acrylic nails, and because I didn't have any acetone nail polish with me during the trip (only non acetone) it meant I couldn't take them off, unless I bit them off... Unfortunately, that's what I had to do! My nails were seriously seriously damaged, and needed some TLC. Ever since putting this on my nails, I feel like it has made them so much stronger! They aren't extremely tough now but so much better then they were before. It's really good for the price, too!
You can buy this HERE

Amazon - Monkey Nail Blow Dryer, £1.99: I saw the price and I thought that's a lot cheaper than I've seen it before. You simply press your fingers onto the grey pad with the banana on the top of it and air blows out of the hole just next to it. To be fair, it's not all that amazing but I really do love it!
You can buy this HERE

Primark - My Little Pony Tee, £7: I saw this top and instantly found it funny and cute. Brings back some funny memories, too aha. I thought it would easily go with tons of bottoms and any sort of jacket, in general I love it!

That's all for today's post! I would have usually a lot more faves, but I haven't found tons for me that I haven't shown you already. I hope you enjoyed this post, speak to you all soon! Feel free to ask any questions or comments in the comments, follow too!:)

Beauty, Hair & Clothing Haul

Hello my lovelies! Today I've got a haul with a couple of random bits and pieces. The clothing pieces I think go together really well so it's sort of an OOTD at the same time!

Primark Bracelets Set of 3 - £1.50: There was another bracelet which was pink with a little gem hanging from the middle in the same style as the blue one above, but I didn't like it as much as these two so I gave it to a friend! These are super cute even though they are a bit loose.

New Look neon Aztec sleeveless top - £7.99: I had a credit note in my purse for New Look (I gave something back and it was payed for on a credit card so I got a credit note to spend) so I only got this beautiful top for £1! I was super happy about this because I've been eyeing up this for a while.

Primark Mini Khaki Pocketed Shorts - on sale from £10 down to £3:I think these two really pair well together! Anyway, these shorts are a nice khaki sort of colour with rounded gold studs on one pocket. on the lift up pockets, they are only for decoration so you can't put anything in them!

L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polish - Palm Tree & Nail Hardener, 99p each: I'm currently trying to get my nails stronger and longer ready for summer so I wanted to use this to help that, then I decided to go for a change in colour for when I have longer nails (hopefully) because dark-ish colours or bright-ish colours like this look terrible on me when I have short nails!

Tiger Hand Drink Stirrers: These were pretty cheap, I can't remember how much in particular but I shared these with my friend. They are really cute, and also stir your drink! I thought it was a little cool buy.

Tiger Bamboo stick box, 2 for £1: This box I thought that I could put my hairpins in, and it would be a nice way of storing them but also keeping them from being everywhere!

Nivea Protect & Bronze Sun Spray, 30 High: £8.49 (On Offer): I thought I might try this because I sort of want to bring the tanning to me, and so far even in the littlest bit of British sun I've noticed my usual face products were all of a sudden a bit too light! This is great because I can use this all through summer, and on my holiday.

Pantene Volume & Body Hair Mousse, Reduced: Again I'm sorry I don't know how much this is specifically, but I remember this was in the reduced section in Tescos. I think it was because it didn't have a lid, but a pound off for that is a bonus if you ask me!

That's all for now, sorry for lack of posting!

How to Make the Best Chocolate Brownies!

Hello my lovelies! I haven't posted in about 2 weeks now, but here I am with one LONG post! I'm going to be sharing a recipe for amazing chocolate brownies. These have turned out perfectly, so I hope you enjoy making/or just reading this tasty treat!
I must say, brownies aren't exactly healthy in any way, but I think these are a great occasional treat and nice for guests/friends/anyone!

Ingredients:
- 185g of butter OR lard (Stork is what I've used)
-185g of milk chocolate
-85g of plain flour
-40g of cocoa powder
-50g of white chocolate chips
-50g of milk chocolate chips
-3 eggs
-275g of caster sugar

Tools:
-Scales
-Hob
-Mixing Bowl
-Saucepan
-Baking paper & baking tray
-Blender/mixer/hand mixer
-Sieve

How to make:
1:
1: Measure out your butter/lard and your chocolate (separately) into the scales and try to get it directly onto 185g. Once both measured, put into your saucepan and put that onto the hob to simmer and melt on the lowest heat. This will be ready melted by the time you need to pour it into the main mixture.

2:
2: Preparing time! Turn your oven onto gas mark 4 so that it's ready pre-heated, then it will be the best temperature to put the brownie mixture in. Once you've done that, line your baking paper into the baking tray (It doesn't matter what size, but for this mixture I've used a 20cm tin).

3:

3: Sieve your 40g of cocoa powder and 85g of plain flour together into a big mixing bowl. This makes them both very soft and not lumpy! Then, grab your three eggs and sugar, and add them into your blender/mixer/another big bowl. Whisk them around! This can take from 3 to 8 minutes.

4:
4:Once that's been mixing and it's turned into a white colour and very creamy consistency, it's time to add in the plain flour and cocoa powder. A thing you need to look out for though is to see if your mixture is ready before you put these two in-

Take out the beaters/mixer thing and see if the mixture hanging from it leaves a trail of itself on the surface for a second or two. If it doesn't leave one, then mix it for another minute of two! It should then be ready.
When it's ready, add in your cocoa powder and plain flour. You need to mix this in but only gently, because you need to keep the air in to keep the brownies light!

5:

5: By this point your butter/lard and chocolate chunks would have melted nicely in the saucepan! Turn off the heat and let it cool for a bit. Once fairly cool, pour into your mixture. With that, it's optional to add in your chocolate chips! I think these brownies are finished off perfectly with the chocolate chips inside. I've used two packets for the mixture because it's the right amount! I've used white and milk chocolate to spice things up a little. Mix these up fully so that the mixture is all the same colour!

6:
6: Finally, pour the mixture into your ready-prepared baking tray and put it into your ready-prepared oven for 30mins. it should be crisp on top!

That is the entire recipe! One thing I would add is that you might want to put this in the fridge for a couple of hours to let it solidify. It's not that it isn't baked properly, it's just that it makes it much easier to cut open.

Then it's time to snack away! I hope you liked this super tasty treat and if you want more treat recipes, then just comment:) Let me know if you try this out!
